AICTE to approve B.Tech course in AI, data science
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has decided to approve a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) course in AI and data science to cater to the growing demand for skilled manpower in these technologies. They took initiatives to improve the quality of technical education, he highlighted that a semester-long training programmer for faculty members has been made mandatory.
Anil Dattatraya Sahasrabudhe AICTE chairman in Chennai on Saturday, had approved AI and data science alone, committee constituted to assess the need for offering degree programmers in technologies, which are driving the next big transformation.
The new joiners must complete this training to become eligible to teach. For those working, this is mandatory for promotions.
