Amazon QuickSight – Floor
In Amazon QuickSight, the floor(decimal) function is used to return the largest integer value that is less than or equal to the given decimal value.
Syntax
#Start# floor(decimal) #End#
This function takes three arguments
- decimal: This is the input value that you want to round down to the nearest integer.
For example, if you have a field called Price with decimal values, and you want to create a new calculated field that rounds the prices down to the nearest dollar, you could use the floor(decimal) function.
Example
#Start# floor({Price}) #End#
This would create a new field with rounded-down prices. For example, if the original price was $4.99, the calculated field would return a value of $4.00.
