Elon Musk announces: You Don’t Even Need To Graduate To Work For Tesla
Elon Musk, Tesla Motors CEO unveils large utility scale home batteries at the Tesla Design Studio in Hawthorne, California. On Feb 2 Elon Musk tweeted that, if you don’t have a college degree, it won’t hold you back from working for Tesla. He is using Twitter as a platform to recruit for Tesla’s artificial intelligence team.
The artificial intelligence team “reports directly to me and we meet/email/text almost every day.” He also says to work in department does not require a specific degree.
Musk said A PhD is definitely not required and continued to say I “don’t care if you even graduated high school. He is also looking for those with a “deep understanding” of artificial intelligence, and while,”educational background is irrelevant,” all candidates “must pass hardcore coding test.
He further continued to say in his conversation, If somebody graduated from a great university that may be an indication that they will be capable of great things, but it’s not necessarily the case.
All he needs, artificial intelligence talent to work on its self-driving vehicle ambitions. These vehicles are built with the hardware necessary to offer some current autopilot features and “full self-driving capabilities.
Musk on Feb 2 also tweeted that he is going to throw a “super fun” party at his house with the Tesla artificial intelligence and autopilot team and also party will be in about a month, and thus and invitations will go in the mail soon.
