Facebook has deleted over six billion fake accounts using a new artificial intelligence tool

Facebook is a place where without knowing each other, they are making friends and knowing about each other. If it is for just a friendship then it would be ok, otherwise many people are making fake accounts and involving in crime activities, harassing people, making frauds by utilizing their bank accounts.

So in order to identify these fraud cases, Facebook has implemented a new tool using Artificial Intelligence; it’s the fight against fraud and disinformation. The social network has developed a new machine learning model capable of detecting false accounts, as per American media.

In the last year the new AI model has removed more than 6.6 billion false identities on the platform. This tool also spots spammers and it’s also taken down billion of accounts.

The tool examines more than 20,000 “deep features” of each account, not only verifies raw data entered by the user, but above all behavioral data. Like How many invitations does he send? With whom does it communicate? How frequently? In which groups is he active? How does he behave in these groups? Etc…

Facebook estimated currently 5% of every 2.98 billion active users are fake. It blocks millions of users who create fake accounts. It became an endless fight.
