IBM Expands Enterprise GenAI Solutions to Drive Business Growth
IBM is expanding its enterprise Generative AI (GenAI) products, enabling partners to integrate these powerful tools across industries. After successfully rolling out GenAI solutions for HR and IT, IBM now aims to target sales and finance departments to help businesses increase efficiency and growth.
According to Ritika Gunnar, General Manager of Data & AI at IBM, the company is seeing significant opportunities for scaling GenAI in enterprise applications. IBM’s GenAI solutions have already made strides in improving customer care, workforce management, and software development by automating processes, increasing productivity, and streamlining workflows.
IBM’s innovative Watsonx Code Assistant is one such product that enhances the productivity of developers through AI-driven automation. The company is now looking to extend this automation into sales and finance, starting with its own operations as the first adopter to fine-tune and expand these solutions.
Moreover, IBM is collaborating with its ecosystem partners to build domain-specific AI tools. This collaborative approach is expected to accelerate the adoption of GenAI from pilot stages to full-scale production, ensuring security, regulatory compliance, and data integration for enterprises.
IBM’s focus remains on creating tailored AI models that cater to the unique needs of businesses, rather than relying on overly large, generic models. “Small language models that are fit to enterprise needs are better,” Gunnar emphasized.
With these advancements, IBM continues to lead the way in enterprise AI, providing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for the modern business landscape.
