NIEPWD released 07 vacancies for facualty Posts 2017
National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Tamil Nadu has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Faculty vacancies purely on contract basis.
Eligible candidates may apply on or before 20-09-2017 for post-1 & 2, attend for walk in interview on 05-09-2017 at 10:00 am for post-3 to 7.

- Assistant Professor (PMR): 01 Post
- Prosthetics & Orthotics: 01 Post
- Assistant Professor in Speech & Hearing: 01 Post
- Lecturer in Speech & Hearing: 01 Post
- Audiologist Grade I: 01 Post
- Speech Pathologist Grade I: 01 Post
- Electronic Engineer: 01 Post
Age limit:
Candidates upper age should be not exceeding 45 years for post-3,4, 35 years for post-5,6, 30 years for post-7 as on 05-09-2017.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have MBBS with PG Degree/ Diploma in PMR from a MCI recognized Institute and CRR registration of RCI/ MCI registration for PG level qualification for post-1, Degree from a recognized Institute in Prosthetics/ Orthotics with CRR Registration of RCI for post-2, M.Sc (Sp & Hg)/ M.A SLP or its equivalent/ M.Sc ( Audiology) with Valid RCI registration for post-3,4, M.Sc (Sp & Hg)/ M.A SLP or its equivalent/ M.Sc ( Audiology/ Speech Language Pathology) with Valid RCI registration for post-5,6 with relevant experience, B.E/B. Tech., in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic Engineering / Electronics & Communications Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent for post-7.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates should have to pay Rs.500/- by Cheque/ DD in favour of Director, NIEPMD payable at Chennai for S.No-3 to 7.

For S.No-1 & 2: Eligible candidates can send their application in the prescribed format along with self attested copies of relevant certificates, latest passport size photo, in an envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for the post of ——” by speed / registered post / courier to the Director, NIEPMD, ECR, Muttukadu, Kovalam Post, Chennai 603 112, Tamil Nadu on or before 20-09-2017
For S.No-3 to 7: Eligible candidates can attend for walk in interview along with self attested copies of qualification, experience, age certificates on 05-09-2017 at 10:00 am.
