Competition Analysis (i2tutorials)

A website wants to get a better ranking, and the development of keywords is a very important part. In SEO, the quality and rationality of keyword selection is directly related to whether the website can get a better ranking and whether it can get more traffic. Of course, before we develop keywords, we must first analyze the degree of competition of keywords. Here, the author will briefly talk about how to analyze the degree of competition of keywords:

First, the number of pages in the page. Generally speaking, the homepage of the website is the page with the highest weight and the ranking ability is also the strongest. If the key words on the first page of the search engine are all on the front page of the website, it proves that the word is more competitive. Conversely, multiple internal pages appear to prove that the word is less competitive.

Second, the number of bidding results. This depends on the number of bidding results on the top and bottom of the search engine and on the right side of the search engine. The more the side proves the greater the competition for the word. Of course, some friends can also judge the degree of competition through the bid price of some words. The higher the price, the greater the competition. Due to the limited space, the next article will explain in detail.

Third, the number of pages and the number of external links of the first page of the search engine. The keywords are analyzed on the first page of the search engine to analyze their volume and number of links. If it is less, then the competition is generally not very large.

Fourth, the number of search results of search engines. When a search engine is clicked on a keyword search, the number of search results is generally displayed near the search box.

It can be seen that the larger the number of search results corresponding to the keyword, the more the competition is, and the number of search results is generally divided into the following levels.

(1) The number of search results is less than 500,000: It is a small competition, and it can be easily done on the front page.

(2) The number of search results is 50-100 million: the degree of competition is a general level, and the general outer chain can be easily done at around 1000.

(3) The number of search results is 100-300 million: the competition is medium, and some anchor texts need to be done;

(4) The number of search results is 3 million to 8 million: the degree of competition is moderately above; it takes a lot of time and energy to queue up.

(5) The number of search results is more than 10 million: it is a difficult competition word.

Fifth, the number of results on the title page. In general, the page title shows the keywords we need to do, which is our real competitor. The larger the number of results on the title page, the greater the competitiveness. So how do we know the number of headline results? Here we can use the search engine’s advanced search command: intitle, which means the page appears in the title title keyword.

Of course, the analysis method of the degree of keyword competition is not limited to the above points. The above are just some of the empirical ideas that the author has personally summarized.
