Tableau – Annotations
In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to add, edit, and delete Tableau Annotations. The Global Superstore Excel file will be used to demonstrate the Annotations.
Using Tableau Annotations, we created an Area Chart by dragging Profit to the Rows Shelf and Ship date Month to the Columns Shelf.
It is generally the case that when you hover over any point on the Area Chart, the tooltip information will be displayed. Tableau annotations can be added to describe the point, show values, etc.
