To Accelerate AI research In India IIT Bombay Collaborates With IBM
On wednesday Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and IBM reported a multi-year coordinated effort to propel the research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) which is the part of university’s AI Horizons Network. As according to the contract AI researchers from IBM will coordinate with the top faculty and best graduates of IIT Bombay.
For gaining the information about representation,charts, diagrams, graphs, and different types of interactive media the investigation will be done by researcher’s team. For growing new and best AI applications in various major industry like healthcare, retail and administration which highly depends on interactive media this This particular zone of research is considered as a strong base.Furthermore, work is intended to investigate new, space nonpartisan preparing approaches which could empower quicker, more productive training of AI frameworks.
Arvind Krishna, senior vice president, Hybrid Cloud and director, IBM Research told that “In the history of IBM, India has been always leading in the complex investigation of technologies like AI and Blockchain. In the past years, we had a very enduring partnership with the most renowned academic organization.As a result of this partnership with IIT Bombay, our goal is to increase the rate of innovation for Artificial Intelligence in India, with the most reputed and top scientists in our country.”
Talking about the partnership Prof. Devang Khakhar, Director, IIT Bombay told that “ The cooperation will allow IIT Bombay professors to work in partnership with investigators of different countries on the frontiers of AI pointing on suitable problems of various industries which allows access to various data sets. We are hoping of a productive partnership, that will make an appreciable impression on the field.”
